Bill works with insurance carriers to assist in subrogation recovery efforts, pre-suit investigations, and early resolution of property-damage cases. He uses trial-related tactics to uncover evidence to support the “story of the case,” which is unique to each matter. At the same time, Bill develops an ADR strategy to bring his cases to an early resolution.
Prior to joining de Luca Levine, Bill was a partner at an East Coast insurance defense firm, handling catastrophic loss cases throughout Pennsylvania and New Jersey. For example, he has defended trucking companies in federal courts, ski resorts across the Poconos, and large retailers from a variety of claims. Among his career highlights is when Bill obtained a directed verdict in the Salvation Army building collapse trial, the longest civil trial in Pennsylvania history. He has tried several cases to verdict in state and federal courts, and argued numerous times before the Pennsylvania Superior Court.
Bill resides in Pennsylvania with his wife and two children. He volunteers at his children’s schools for various fundraisers and events, and serves as Majority Inspector of Elections for his local voting precinct.
